I heard from my friends that selling scrap cars for cash is a good way to earn money. I was struck by the idea so I decided to try it for myself. I went around the neighborhood asking for car scraps. It was so tiring because I had to go through all the houses. But I was glad I did it because I was able to collect a lot of car scraps; that meant more money for me.
When I went to the scrapyard, the guy in charge told me that my collection would only get me $75 dollars. That wasn’t the amount that I wanted to hear. I was expecting something around the range of $500. I asked him why the amount wasn’t higher. He just laughed and told me that car scraps aren’t worth much. I regretted going through all that hard work just to get $75. It wasn’t worth it at all.
